On Thursday, March 15, I joined fellow local artists at a reception in Falls Church, Virginia for Falls Church Arts’ “ISMs” show. This juried exhibition invited artists to submit up to two pieces of work that demonstrate a particular “ism.” Works were extremely varied but “surrealism” was well represented. The exhibit was juried by Mark Robarge and installed in FCA’s gallery, ArtSpace. I had two pieces juried into the show, “Reach” and “China Doll.” “China Doll” was awarded second place.
