Opening May 18 – Artomatic in Crystal City
I’m so excited to participate in my very first Artomatic, DC’s largest creative event. Artomatic creates community, builds audience and expands economic development by transforming available space into a playground for artistic expression. Unjuried events showcase creative work in visual art, music, film, performance, and fashion. In short, it’s an art event on steroids that is 100% free to the public. This year’s event is in Crystal City (Arlington, VA):
Where: 1851 S. Bell Street, Arlington, VA (Crystal City metro)
Where I will be: The 2nd floor, Space 146.
When: May 18 through June 23, 2011.

The exhibit was juried by Mark Robarge and installed in FCA’s gallery, ArtSpace. I had two pieces juried into the show, “Reach” and “China Doll.” “China Doll” was awarded second place.
