Open Studio at Edgewood Studios

A few months ago, I was able to secure a studio space in NE Washington DC and join the fantastic community of artists at Edgewood Studios. The timing was perfect – I moved in and immediately began work on a large-scale commission – so it felt like it was meant to be.

Getting settled in

Having a studio space is a luxury for city-dwelling artists – something I haven’t had in the past and may not have in the future. I’m taking full advantage of my time here and making as many messes as possible. It’s all part of the creative process!

One of the best things about my space is that I can invite the public to engage with my work and see ideas in progress. I’m excited to participate in my first open studio – this Saturday, April 28. Join me and the other participating artists for beverages, art and community:

Where: 703 Edgewood St NE
When: Sat, April 28 from 6-9pm
